  • Hi, I was visiting Amsterdam , and my best friend recommended this restaurant. I love to go to new restaurants, , so this was a real treat to take the free ferry at the back of Central Station, Amster...  more »
  • Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam Noord is a restaurant/pub with a cosy atmosphere. You can eat, and you can also have a drink at the bar. There is also a space that acts as a gallery. The staff is fast and friendly.

  • With the work. Service was extremely friendly and the dishes were all delicious and nicely served. Was just a pity that we are halfway through the evening were told that we had to until a certain time table for the next group. It was compensated with a drink from the House and we were on a nice place continue the evening. All in all had a topavond!

  • The food is THE BEST! The atmosphere is great, I always enjoy eating at Tolhuistuin. The only thing I'd like to share is that I don't agree with their explanation on how to order. Before you order they explain how it works: The dishes are small, you take 1 or 2 dishes per person and you share with each other. Then you can order a second time, whenever you're done and feel like having something else. It is a nice idea but the two times I did it like this I had to wait such a long time before they took the second order that I wasn't hungry anymore. After the first round we were completely ignored and had to walk to the bar to order something else. I also know other peope who had this experience. I reccommend taking 2 dishes per person all at the same time and enjoy it. The wine is very good as well.
  • Nice, pretty trendy place. Enough lockers to put your stuff in, 2 euros per use. The concert area is pretty small, but looks nice - includes a balcony as well.
  • Amazing selection of Tapas style food. Great atmosphere and attentive waiters. Wonderful place to bring friends and enjoy the evening.
  • Leuk intieme zaal
  • too bad ! the food was okay . but the dutchies had to be dutchies and follow their book and be un flexible :(
