  • eating out in the old canteen of Shell is a trip back in time. With minimal means a contemporary restaurant set in the ever hipper becoming Amsterdam North is something that is becoming more common. Friendly, common and mediocre. Nice dishes that occasionally a bit firmly priced Ceasar's salad) or other dishes that are hugely obvious such as the Sticky duck and the Attorney. All snacks to share with each other. in the vibrant setting of the restaurant and the bar is difficult to understand each other in a somewhat larger group. As far as the wines applies reasonable prices. a delicious white Rioja, but also the Red Tempranillo is tasty, even though something to served hot. All in all a nice place to meet together in an ever-changing environment. A great location.

  • A nice place especially when you can sit outside. Service is friendly, although anyone very demonstrative at the top of the staircase stands as a kind of gatekeeper who decides whether you should run or not. Ordering procedure not entirely clear. We got all the dishes cold/hot together and everything was put on the table at the same time. None of the control. Noted that this was not right, just look at infinity and drop. The dishes tasted fine, but you had to be quick because otherwise everything was cold. Price was OK.

  • This place honestly has the best service ever experienced in this city (which is usually rude and bad), they are all very friendly and know how to spot a client who needs attention immediately. They all have a sense of humor and most humbly took my food back when I told them I didn't like it so much (and gave me another dish in return for nothing). That said, I think the food needs a bit more dedication. The dishes itself sound good and interesting but it's just not special enough, or a bit bland, unfortunately. Aside from this it's a very nice place. Kudos to the staff!!
  • A lovely place with lots of room. Service was fast for Dutch standards! Bottle of water on the table, great! We had 6 dishes in total - 4 were nice, 1 was ok and 1 was very bad. So overall pretty good. It's also fairly reasonably priced. We booked online super simple. If they had more flavor and better dishes would give it a 5.
  • Nu e combo of bar, restaurant and concert hall. Haven't eaten there yet, but visited the terrace for a couple of beers before visiting there for a concert. One of the concert halls is a bit weird, as it is completely white from top to bottom. Concerts held there are usually organized on a partnership with legendary music venue Paradiso. Located just a short (and free) ferry ride behind the Central train station of Amsterdam, next to the Eye Film museum.
  • Place is ok (trying really hard to create that retro Mad Men atmosphere, which is adequate considering the location's history.) Shame for the service: difficult to get attention from waiter/tresses and... we just got asked to leave in 01:10 min (they probably switch to restaurant.) There's this thing with Dutch service you know, famously awful, and they're pretty much a prototype example :/
  • Very nice restaurant with novel concept and meals. The idea is that together everyone eats small dishes so you can try everything. The dishes are all out of the box and unique combinations. Best to go with a larger group so one can try everything.
