  • Don't be shy... hey don't bite. Strike a pose, if you're daring, to see and feel what it's like to be in the front of Red Light Window. hesitant at first, we walked into the museum but found ourselves intrigued. Very informative and well thought of, you have a better understanding of lives of the girls... history and of their story. most interesting was the confession left by fellow travelers... feel free to leave one if it weighs you down!
  • Fairly small museum that highlights the key points about the history and current state of prostitution in Amsterdam. There's a fair amount of useless things there, but a couple of the items were worth the price of admission. It only takes about an hour, and the "optional" audio tour was helpful. Despite only 3/5 stars, I still consider it worth doing while in Amsterdam (and day or night makes no real difference).
  • Interesting, but it's got much more content on the red light district as it is now and experiences of what it's like to be a sex worker in 2017 than anything else. It would have been interesting to find out more about the history of the area - I'm still none the wiser! Note that if you book online in advance (even on the same day) you get €2 off
  • An interesting museum, unlike any you might have seen earlier. Although they've tried to make it immersive, it is really small. Nevertheless I liked the history and the way they've tried to answer some usual questions about prostitution.
  • Better than the sex museum. For people needing a better understanding of why the red lights are so famous
