  • Tribute to the dead of World War II, the monument has 22 m tall. It's just a place to stay and view on Dam square.

  • It is good that this monument on an important place in this country is put down. Also fortunately not as exaggerated as other monuments.

  • The National Monument is located at the dam square, one of the most central places in Amsterdam. The monument is very impressive and it can make you stop for a second in your vacation to think about the world War two so you might be more thankful about your own life and family, I really appreciate that.
  • Cool square, nice place to rest after walking around all day. Tons of shopping and restaurants and entertainment near by.
  • Dam square is a location that should be on all tourists lists. Good location and it's easy to head to pretty much anywhere in the city from here.
  • Pretty place, near the dam square (so easy to find). Have some good places to visit around and is a nice place to visit as well
  • Walking tours leave from here. There was also a fair going on right next to it. Very lively place.
