  • We rented an apartment in this area, great place to stay, very good tram links to all the city. Would definetly stay in the area again.  more »
  • Museum Square It is actually a good number of museums, and the venue is a large park with a lot of open space, small food shops and souvenir shops. If you are a bit tired at the museum, you can find a place to sit and rest in the park, or buy a hot dog for lunch and then continue to visit the museum.

  • They exchange money into Euro for you which is absolutely helpful! Also they upgraded our room, gave us champagne and cookies all for our honeymoon which was a welcomed and surprising experience. The room itself was lovely with one wall being windows. The bed was comfortable and the bath was a good size. The front end staff always helped us with our needs. Sometimes they were a bit backed up in the front with a wave of people but always made us feel like they had gone for us.
  • Really nice hotel with spacious rooms and good location in quiet neighborhood. We had a "double/twin" room "with view". The view was amazing over the city. The term "double/twin" on our voucher was a bit confusing and we got a double bed even though we had preferred a twin but I think if you ask in advance for one or the other it will be no problem. We didn't really care so we kept the double. The room itself and the bathroom are both nice and spacious but nothing really fancy or luxurious. The staff was very friendly and kind.
  • The location is amazing, especially for the price. You can easily start or finish your day at any of the museums (Rijks in the morning, Van Gogh is open late on Fridays, and Joy Ride Bike Tours also meets nearby). The 16 Tram is only a block away and will take you right into the heart of the city, otherwise walking through the canals to whatever you are going is extremely pleasant. The staff is equally great. They kept our luggage when we arrived early, provided us check-in options, and allowed us to change. The manager especially was very warm and exceptionally helpful and accommodating. We switched our departure day at the last second to catch a flight, and he was very kind and quick to assist us. By the way - we made our flight! Thanks!
  • I stayed here with my girlfriend to celebrate our anniversary. I booked it partly for the location but also because the rooms looked amazing. How disappointed was I when i arrive to a room with a faded orange carpet, dust/dirt all around the room where the wall meets the carpet and a sweaty/greasy headmark on the headboard. The door to the balcony had been paded with toilet roll i assume to make sure it didn't bang in the wind, just get it fixed. The balcony itself was filthy, covered in dust and cigarette ash. There's no way that had been cleaned in quite some time. the sink in the bathroom was also cracked. I was incredibly disappointed to stay here at a cost of £500 for two nights and to stay in a room that should have cost no more than half that. Avoid at all costs in my opinion!
  • Very good service, helpful people at the service desk. Daily room service. Location is very close to near by restaurants, and easy transport links to city centre. Down side, not a fault of the hotel, outside view from room was of building/construction work (Room 316). Overall, great hotel and friendly service.
