  • It sounded me some drowsy in the ears: ' a museum of bags ', but soon changed my mind. That bags can be so interesting, itself for my husband! The location is excellent and the collection. There are good comments on the bags, so you also will learn much unnoticed. The whole is well taken care of and certainly not bored. A must for everyone-men and women-who wants to know more about the origin and development of what is perhaps the most important accessory is by almost every woman.

  • In a beautiful old building on the Herengracht is the museum established. At the permanent exhibition every time you see other details of the bags and if overview of Genesis antiquity to the design of the modern bag is extremely fascinating. Also the short exhibitions are always well groomed and captivating. We are there already have been several times and it's always a party!

  • Very interesting Museum, well done, with excellent descriptive tables. Bag/purse from the middle ages to the present day (also the ancestors of purse!). The exhibition "Royal Bags" really interesting-we learned how does Queen Elizabeth to express his mood in official meetings with the flick of his legendary handbags. Then we had in a magnificent room overlooking the famous (and expensive) High Tea, good and served with great courtesy and professionalism. One little note: some cases would benefit from a little more light (unless it is a conservative measure)
