  • This museum is awesome!! However, when I was there, 2 floors were closed for renovations. Disappointing! I wish I could have seen them all. We did the high tea and it was lovely!! Highly recommend!  more »
  • If handbags, purses and other ladies accoutrements are your thing then this is the museum for you. It really does have a vast range of bags from the C17 onwards. There is also a shop with a wide selec...  more »
  • This is the museum for you. It was a treat to see so many purses in one place.....my ‘I’m NOT a Plastic Bag’ tote was even on display. The museum shop is a must and you will leave with a shopping bag!...  more »

  • There were some interesting bags on show but had only just 're opened after refurbishment. May have been better to wait until the refurbishment was finished before 're opening. We were recommended to try one of their tea rooms but when we tried to we were told the one only served afternoon tea for which a reservation was required and the other very bare room with very few seats didn't have any breakfast tea! How a tea room runs out of tea is incredible!
  • Not very special. Very small historical bags section. About 50% are modern bags from collections we have seen in stores over the last decade. Looked more like a handbag shop where you cannot buy staff 😂 I would rather see more antique there and rare collector items. But cinserning they position it as a first handbag museum in the world, I guess OK for the first try. The building is beautiful and the Cafe is very nice as well. Good for a quick girls meeting (meet for an hour or two to stare at the bags, chat and have a coffee).
  • What a beautiful items! Theres a real feel of awe when you are there. The message from the founders daughter is such a lovely touch. Make sure you listen to the audio bites!
  • Really interesting. Different king of bags from different ages! Old fashion bags, contemporary one but also bags from celebrities!
  • Beautiful museum. Expensive entry. If you love handbags it's a must see.
