  • The tower is high and visible Montalban. You will see it at some point of your tour. She served as the defense of the city today she works as a municipal office. It is very exciting to see old buildings, this tower was built in the year 1500, practically when Brazil was being discovered.

  • I think the tour guide said this one was over 400 years old. The architecture is very cool and it's very old and in a cool spot. Worth the time.  more »

  • A towering sight along one of the many canals in Amsterdam. Although a nice structure, one wouldn't really appreciate it unless he knows the significance of the tower. It was built in the 16th C and was originally used as a defense tower to protect the city's banks and harbor. It's one the of the few remaining medieval structures in Amsterdam.
  • Beautiful tower up and high above the canals.
  • One week in May spent in a lovely basement flat, within100 meters from this tower was wonderful. And to see the beautifully lighted structure and listen to the soft hourly chimes at night is a memory not forgotten!
  • Linda torre.
  • Nice, quaint town with great flair and class nightlife...
