Madame Tussauds, Amsterdam
Categories: Specialty Museums, Museums
Meet replicas of your favorite celebrities and historical figures at Madame Tussauds. Based on the original museum in London, this museum features wax recreations of famous individuals from Elizabeth Taylor to Albert Einstein. If you are more interested in Dutch history, visit the Dutch Golden Age wax exhibit. Kids will love taking photos with their favorite stars, and teenagers will especially enjoy the multimedia zones, including a pop idols experience. View the world's largest animatronics' wax figurine, a replica of Claas Janszoon at 5 m (18 ft) tall, and take in city views from the top floor of the building. Plan to see Madame Tussauds and other attractions that appeal to you using our Amsterdam travel itinerary maker.

Fun place to spend a couple of hours but rather small. I wasn't very impressed with the exhibits but glad to say I've been there and done that.

If this is your thing... go to London. This one is a small version with many local famous peeps. Not very interesting but for the nice view you have on the dam square.

Really over hyped. The wax works were great, although there weren't many. We finished the tour in about 20mins and took photos with most of the wax works. Would be good for one visit. Try get tickets online for cheaper as wasn't really worth the money.
Very realistic statues. Statue with camera was best part. I thought someone is taking photo of statue, so was waiting patiently for my turn and realised that someone is also a statue :)
It's like the others. New York and London. They are all the same. Has some local twists though out. Worth a visit but if you've been to New York or London version id suggest skipping it and heading to the dungeon up the street.
My first visit to a wax museum. Better than expected. Great experience seeing these lifelike wax models
