  • The rich maritime history is somehow subdued. There are no one shouting the rich maritime history. We would think this museum would do that. It does not.  more »
  • Excellent. One of the best museums in Amsterdam. Very comprehensive, interesting and relevant not just for shipping enthusiasts  more »
  • The building of the museum is an old colonial warehouse, and makes it already worthwhile to visit this museum. The exhibition is worth seeing.  more »

  • I am interested in history, sailing and ships so this was a really interesting place to me. Nice exhibition in a nice building. There were just a few people, because of covid, so I could enjoy the exhibition in calm.
