  • As we were the first visitors on this day and were treated very obliging. A private staff brought us to the first floor and asked us even tea and coffee because we had to wait until the system was booted. => Totally love staff very polite us friendly is! The museum itself is simply a dream. I have never seen before was in a museum which is so wonderfully appealing. Great multimedia show! Amazing concept! We loved it and we can only warmly recommend it! Absolutely hingehen...so an extraordinary Museum in a beautiful canal house will be available probably not twice one!

  • What a seriously darling museum. We recommend it to all our friends. It isn't huge, but it really is the perfect introduction to the designing and building of Amsterdam and its canals. Information is presented in unique ways and it really was unlike any other museum we went to. We were so happy with it! The staff is also very friendly. Make sure to enjoy the gift shop - I bought three darling ceramic canal houses that I saw nowhere else. They sell charming little things that you don't see in the trashy tourist trap shops. We love this museum!
  • It's an amazing "secret" museum. A great multimedia experience and very interesting. It's not well known and very quiet this Sunday but all the better for us! You can do it at a very relaxed pace.
  • It's not on the museumkart, but well worth a visit! We were hesitant, with having to pay for entry, but they have done a truly fantastic job to make your entry fee worth while. Being a canal house, they don't have a lot of space, but the little they have, they've used well. Super informative and well thought of ways of presenting the information in a modern and interactive manner. Sweet wee gift shop as well, I will probably go back just to get presents for people from there! Loved by our visiting friend, but also by us - one true Amsterdammer and one of coming up to 6 years and even then the information was still interesting to us.
