Heineken Experience, Amsterdam

Participate in Heineken Experience, a tour of the historic brewery for the internationally known Heineken pilsner. More than just a tour, this experience is meant to engage and entertain its visitors. Walk through the industrial building where Heineken brewed beer for more than 100 years since it was established in 1867. Learn about the process of pilsner brewing, as well as the history of production and branding. View artifacts, interact with exhibits, and, of course, sample the brewery's famous beer. The site happens to be an anchor point along the European Route of Industrial Heritage. Heineken Experience is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our world travel planner, Amsterdam Edition.

For a good lover of the Golden drink, this tour is mandatory! Super beautiful and profitable interactive! Many curiosities and much beauty! Souvenir shop is not expensive and has a variety of very cool content! For those who have English, understand very well everything that is explained. Highly recommended!!!

Fun experience and the tour is really interesting. With the price of the ticket includes two drinks. At the end of the tour we had lunch on the terrace with views of Amsterdam and grilled at a modest price. It's worth it!

Interesting experience, merging offline and digital. Friendly staff. Very nice rooftop. The admission ticket includes two beers. Not that crowded as expected. They closed earlier than stated although it is summer time already. Nice visit but wouldn't say it is a "must".

Awesome experience. Great way to learn more about Heineken and beer in general. The interactive stations and games were really fun and entertaining. The rooftop bar is cool but gets a little crowded and hot. Beautiful views of the cities though!

British tourist, an amazing experience for everyone although it helps if you drink beer! The staff are very nice and helpful as well as brimming with knowledge and experience. It's a self guided tour that let's you take it at your own pace, there are several set pieces that requires you move along but there are areas to sit and relax after. We got 3 small 250ml beers each on our way round with 2 being complimentary from the roof garden. Had to wait in line for tickets not very long but would recommend prebooking.

It was hot. It was super crowded. It was loud. It was a 2 minute wait to buy our tickets. (When we left, there was a line half way down the street.) You get a wristband with two tokens which gives you 2 beers at the end. The men's room was on your right as you entered, and we were blessed with a full view of men urinating. We didn't want the guided tour, but got caught up with a group and couldn't pass. Stairs... with a view to the ground below. I'm not a fan. The place is full of them. And that's pretty much what you do. Climb stairs to only go back down on the other side of the wall. Not much in between. The highlight for me was the horse. Not too sure what purpose the horse serves in the making of the beer, but I can only guess, it's to filter it through his kidneys before bottling. If you're into loud nightclub music. If you're into lining up for no apparent reason. If you're into paying $18 for 2 8oz beers... then this is the attraction for you.

Its a self guided tour with some helpful Heineken staff sprinkled around. So you are free to take your time to enjoy the exhibits. Love all the interactive activities that bring the brand to life. A well done experience. *Tip: Go early to avoid the crowds which start to line up at 12+.
