  • Pleasant hours spent within this structure ... a mix between fun and Relax ... great heineken enjoyed within the factory. .. probably the view would have been more interesting if we took the audio guides because there were of "guide" giving interesting facts on brewing but of course in English. Recommended for a young audience.

  • We went a little bit discouraged, since we not stopped seeing photos of Museum and several gossip. Until we were enveloped in a magical bubble of beer, expressions, and a great atmosphere in a 180 degree turn. Laughs, dances, activities and a world full of technology. All very cool and recommended despite the price of admission... that is it also amortized during the visit...

  • Where: Heineken Experience - Amsterdam, Netherlands What: A beer tour for Heineken How was it: It's criticized for being highly commercialized but we had lots of fun. We tried to maximize our outdoor time when the weather was permitting, so when it started raining, we decided to visit. We enjoyed the tour but more specifically the bicycle, the virtual parts, and our free beers at the end. They give you a bracelet at the entrance with 2 small plastic tags. At the end of the tour, you can redeem them for one large beer or two small ones. If our calculations were right, there is more beer when you take the two small ones ! They are pure geniuses because they put the store just after the beer lounge experience. They get you just a little tipsy and bam, there you go thinking you should buy the entire store ! Beware, but they do make great souvenirs and gifts. Grade: Eli = 5, Serge = 4+ Recommend: Yes, it's a solid beer tour experience.
  • Many people know that Heineken is all about marketing and this place is a great example of that! It is a really cool and fun place to visit with a bit of history and a lot of interaction. Of course you'll get a few beers (I think 3 are included). But if you like beer, I would advise you to try some 'speciaal bier' in The Netherlands as well :-)
  • If you're into beer and you have never been to a brewery, definitely check out this place. It's fun and interesting. Tho all those brewery tours are pretty much the same, so if you've done one before in your life (doesn't matter which beer brand) you might find it repetitive.
  • Fun, interesting and interactive tour exploring the history of brewing Heineken. Plenty of variety including exhibits around sponsorship in football and not just plaques and videos about how the company was started. Amazing views of the city from the roof terrace but the free drinks at the end are served in tiny 0.25L glasses.
  • Rock the city tour is awesome! For an extra couple of euros you upgrade from a regular admission ticket to this tour and get a canal ride and access to the A'dam look out tower which to just go up on its own is over €12. We decided to do our experience later in the day (from 4pm) which was absolutely perfect. We got to drink a lot of beer at the experience, more beer on the canal boat ride (which gives you a little history / commentary of what you're seeing) and even more beers up at the look out tower. Understandably all these beers are not included in the ticket price. We got up the the look out tower about 7pm as it started to get dark and we got the see the city light up which was very pretty. However, from then on you're pretty stranded, drunk and stranded in an area we weren't familiar with. You can try and navigate back to the city but you're more likely to jump in a taxi to the nearest place that sells pizza. There is a restaurant at the top of the tower but you have to book way in advance to even get a look in, but they do nibbles. Great end to our first day in Amsterdam!
