Participate in Heineken Experience, a tour of the historic brewery for the internationally known Heineken pilsner. More than just a tour, this experience is meant to engage and entertain its visitors. Walk through the industrial building where Heineken brewed beer for more than 100 years since it was established in 1867. Learn about the process of pilsner brewing, as well as the history of production and branding. View artifacts, interact with exhibits, and, of course, sample the brewery's famous beer. The site happens to be an anchor point along the European Route of Industrial Heritage. • Generally a waste of time, €7 for a tour in which you learn almost nothing. Very decorated to tourism and the sale of merchandising of the brand itself. Museum has walls, the rest is an amusement park.

  • Who is fond of beer and go to Amsterdam can only do the Heineken Experience. Well worth getting to know the history of the company and all the manufacturing process. More than recommended.

  • For lovers of beer, good to know the history of the manufacturer, the manufacturing process and then of course the tasting. I recommend buying the combo which includes the boat tour through the canals.

  • It's a must see in Amsterdam. If you are into beer, or just curious about the production of it, you will really enjoy this museum. They really made sure to make the whole experience fun and hands on. Oh yeah you get beer at the end of course, and also a free boat ride and a gift. Definitely worth a trip.
  • One of the most fun experiences in Amsterdam. Perfect if you are into beer but still fun for anyone looking for a cool activity. You learn about history of Heineken, how it is brewed, and then get the chance to play a bunch of fun games and make silly videos using green screens. You get three free beers with your ticket (one during a guided tasting and two you can pick up in a big bar area at the end of the tour). There is usually a little line (longer if it is raining out) so save some time by buying your ticket online.
  • Very interesting tour, it was great to learn of the history of Heineken! Any and all queues we ran into could have been dealt with a little bit better as we found ourselves standing around for quite a bit. The bar at the end of the tour where you are granted 2 regular Heineken's or 1 large had a fantastic atmosphere. Would absolutely go back whenever I'm next in Amsterdam.
  • A fun experience overall. 4 stars for being a little bit pricey (18 eur) , and also because they offer you 2 beers in the end, but you have to drink them there, since they're not bottled.
  • I never understood the rush about this place, It got nothing ordinary in it, it is over priced. I don't find the tour really interesteding, if it was steal working brewery than it was a whole different story but this is a old brewery and I haven't enjoyed the tour + you got only one beer on the end. Its a tourist attractions that I recommend to skip. Amsterdam offers so much better than that.
