  • A shopping mall with cafes and large kids playground. Free parking for 1.5 hours, supermarkets (including genuine oriental one). Amazing arts display.
  • Nice shopping mall with stores I normally have to run all over town to find. Easy to get to.
  • Posh little shopping center. Some nice restaurants but store selection is just OK. Very busy in the weekends and the parking garage gets full quickly.
  • An upmarket shopping centre in a leafy mid-century suburb of Amsterdam. Not easy to reach by public transport but an underground facility offers free parking. Architecturally somewhat dated with muted, sterile airport lounge or corporate headquarters aesthetics from the 1990's with harsh lighting and plenty of polished marble, glass and metal. Clean and well-maintained premises. No muzak but certain shops believe in perfumed ventilation. Shopping options include one major supermarket, a large organic food market, a Japanese food store and a number of smaller specialist shops, such as a bakery, a fishmonger's, a greengrocer's, a coffee capsule boutique and shops for Belgian chocolates and Italian olive oil respectively. The usual Dutch high street chemist and household ware chains are also in place but mainstream fashion for ladies and a few gift, interior design and jewelry shops complete the picture. A number of interesting eateries are popular with the suits from nearby Zuidas business district during lunch hours, with Amstelveen housewives lingering on into the late afternoon.
  • Stumbled on this shopping centre after walking in nearby park. It's a large modern clean centre with good variety of shops and cafes. I especially liked the bakery, chocolatiers, and homeware stores. The 62 bus runs opposite and there is parking.
