The Royal Concertgebouw (Dutch: Koninklijk Concertgebouw, pronounced [ˌkoːnɪnklək kɔnˈsɛrtxəbʌu]) is a concert hall in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The Dutch term "concertgebouw" translates into English as "concert building". Its superb acoustics place it among the finest concert halls in the world, along with Boston's Symphony Hall and the Musikverein in Vienna.
In celebration of the building's 125th anniversary, Queen Beatrix bestowed the royal title "Koninklijk" upon the building on 11 April 2013, as she had on the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra upon its 100th in 1988.

  • Beautiful architecture and interior of this building. I was listening to the pianist, the piano Stainway and sons sounded amazing! They staff is professional and polite. Thank you, I will definitely come back again!
  • An amazing house. It’s no wonder it is so well regarded internationally. There’s always something happening there, but at the same time, always high quality. It’s wonderful how they manage it, often with international stars or the equally flabbergasting national talent such as the great Rotterdams Philharmonisch. I have to add that the wine during the pause is always appreciated. If you haven’t, go visit!
  • Great Square, huge underground supermarket, museums, coffee and lunch places, and my old basement flat ! Concertgebouw building is stunning, and so is it's word famous orchestra.
  • A beautiful building that I was only able to see from the place, but was definitely a highlight of my stay there. Architecturally, it's magnificent, and it's well located, easily accessible by public transport.
  • Not only is this a magnificent concert hall at the Museum Park in the heart of Amsterdam but it is also the centre of the highest quality music performances in the world. Legendary orchestra, conductors, singers have performed here and the recording testifies the significance and importance of this concert hall
