  • Great to visit, and in an area with lots of pubs and bistros to enjoy as well. Best part is that they have country specific areas in the store, so you can buy bulbs that are certified to be OK to bring back to your particular company, and they are labeled properly.
  • good is that it is cheap to visit, but when we bought seeds to grow - almost all of them did not grow...90%..very sad :(
  • A small museum, but you do learn a lot of things about the origin of tulips and the important role they played in history. There is also a little shop where you can buy different tulip seeds and souvenirs.
  • Exhibition wise, it's rather small but covers all the basis including the true origin of Tulip in both plant and the name (hint: not Dutch). Entrance leading towards exhibition entrance serves as both gift shop and tourist trap, but then again, they sell many varieties of tulips so no complaint here. Price of tulip tends to be bit on higher side. You might have better bargain at Bloemenmarkt. Expect to spend about 30 minutes in exhibition. Worth it if you have pass to use like Iamsterdam Card.
  • I came for the museum and didn't expect a store with such variety. The museum portion was fun. It was very informing of the history of tulips in Amsterdam. I spent over an hour in the shop portion deciding what souvenirs to bring back home :) Staff is very kind and helpful
