Amsterdam Roest, Amsterdam
(3.9/5 based on 60+ reviews on the web)
Do a little bit of everything at Amsterdam Roest, an old steel factory that regularly hosts various events, many of which spill onto the street. Check the website for the latest happenings, which may be anything from food festivals to concerts. Even without something specific going on, the area merits a visit, with many restaurants and bars, plus a beach annex next to the canal. Children can enjoy the playground and sandpit while the adults relax on the benches. • Rust is located in an area that used to be the industrial heart of Amsterdam. The factory buildings are at the part yet. And next to it are new office buildings for Volkskrant and Parool newsrooms. But this section is still raw and rough. Although the pub now so popularized is that you hardly still marginalized can speak. The performances and exhibitions in the halls next to it are funny and sometimes good. The atmosphere is very relaxed in the summer. And the finest is that you with your ship can dock.

  • With my work last week for the first time been for drinks/dinner party. Nice location, tasty snacks, nice service. Within very nicely decorated, but certainly with good weather a beautiful location. I will definitely be back!

  • I've been with my boyfriend in this local recommended by his brother. The place is quite far from the Center and not easy to find. Unfortunately we came across one evening where there was no evening organized so it was very quiet. The ambiance is very peculiar but very relaxing. Beautiful music and very nice beach with hammocks and deckchairs to relax in. Local not tourist to this very recommended.
