Amsterdam Roest, Amsterdam

4.2
Do a little bit of everything at Amsterdam Roest, an old steel factory that regularly hosts various events, many of which spill onto the street. Check the website for the latest happenings, which may be anything from food festivals to concerts. Even without something specific going on, the area merits a visit, with many restaurants and bars, plus a beach annex next to the canal. Children can enjoy the playground and sandpit while the adults relax on the benches. Hello! As in all improvised journey you can find other deservedly forgettable and unforgettable moments. Because the Roest fits into the first. Rest after "kicking" the city (by some was the Gay Pardade, highly recommended), beer, good music and great company (mine). Later we asked a few dishes for dinner, without stridency, rico. I recommend a stop at this site. Best regards

This place is at the Eastern Dock area of Amsterdam. The food was love as well as the drinks. It was a very nice area but quirky. It's worth a visit but I am not sure you will be blown away  more »

A great place to grab something to eat and have a meal. We shared a vegetable festival platter and it was amazing! Also a good option for vegans/vegetarians. The atmosphere is also great, with a DJ playing music and loads of picnic tables outside perfect for a summer night out.

One of my favourite bars in Amsterdam! Very raw look, good varying beers and cocktails, and changing theme nights. In the summer there is also an outside terras to sit at near the water.

One of Amsterdam's best kept secrets. We went on a Sunday when the weather was beautiful and there was plenty of space. Delicious food, great drinks and good vibes

A sandy bar on the canal edge in an old industrial warehouse... Really great atmosphere and seating. Snack options available as a DIY stand. Perfect for summer!

Don't expect too much from the food, other than that is really great: nice atmosphere, great terrace and surroundings.
