Amsterdam ArenA, Amsterdam

4.0
Home to Dutch soccer's Ajax and host to a multitude of other sports and music events, Amsterdam ArenA also claims the title of the largest stadium in the Netherlands. With a sports capacity of more than 53,000 people and retractable roof, the stadium offers guided tours for a chance to see up-close the field, player facilities, and press stand and to learn more about the complex's daily workings. Tours are not available on match days; be sure to check the calendar of events to see if you can catch a soccer game or concert during your visit instead. You can easily access the stadium via rail from Amsterdam, Utrecht, and the rest of the Dutch train network. • We went to the U2 concert in the Amsterdam arena and the place is incredible. All the necessary structure with bars, restaurants, hotels, sports shops and easy transport.

  • 68 000 U2 fans together in this July 29! All just huge! A flawless sound, big screens on 2 sides of the stage and... a good ventilation! Despite the influx, a seller of drinks going on until the beginning of the concert! Access are well marked, and hospitality happens as a letter in the mail! Despite the crowd, no jostling to get into the concert hall! The commercial area around very well stocked allows a good beer at the exit of the show and although places are crowded, everyone gets to be served! Live!

  • Come to Amsterdam will want to come to the equivalent of the main Stadium Stadium clock photo. Next to bian Fan Club Med of one equivalent of 專 Mai shop, bought the shirt, Neck scarves and other gifts, even if not a equivalent of fan it's worth a future look.

  • It's a beautiful stadium. The seatings view is very good from any spot. There is a small Burger King and Heineken Bar inside the stadium, so you can grab something to eat or drink quickly. I just wish there were more options to eat and drink and if there were vending machines, as well. Also there are a couple of parking buildings in the area with 5 to 10 minutes walking distance.
  • This stadium is perfect for seeing some nice football. Besides games of Ajax, there are some events taking place every now and then. You can buy snacks and drinks for your standard stadium prices (quite expensive). There are plenty of other parking lots and structures within walking distance of the stadium if you are unable to park in the carpark underneath the stadium.
  • We went there for the tour and it was great! We had a brilliant tour guide and there were loads of interesting bits of history. The stadium is very atmospheric. The tour lasts 75 mins and costs €16.50 but is slightly cheaper if you pay online before.
  • Went to the arena for the U2 concert. Seemed to be nothing out of the ordinary and I have no complaints. It was my first time there but movement during the concert was not a problem. There were plenty of vendors so the lines weren't too bad considering the number of people at the concert. Entry and exit also were non-problematic.
  • Terrible sound quality at concerts. Nice football if you like Ajax or when PSV visits. Parking is great!
