  • We visited this beautiful museum n.a.v. the wonderful exhibition about Rik Wouters. free with € 13, Amersfoort citycard. Very bother, the permanent collection includes many interesting paintings and objects. Part of the museum is dedicated to the war years (' 14-' 18) with the many Belgian refugees, camp Amersfoort and the fate of the Jewish inhabitants ... The heavy illness of Walters and its impact on his art, you live as a visitor with the couple. We should enjoy this expo so many masterpieces by Rik Wouters that even the trip (from Flanders) worth.

  • Super beautiful property on a beautiful location, but we actually had something expected more from this museum.

  • Interesting museum. Entrance price is 10Euro for adults - which is a bit high I think. Museum has some English translation, and some great pieces, but I didn't fell a connection with most of it. It's quite small, and the current main exhibit had no translations at all, which made it hard to understand. Good location and helpful staff
  • Niche museum, exhibiting local history and art aimed at local residents and children.
  • Pretty interesting museum about the history of Amersfoort. Well worth a visit.
