  • We just didn't have enough time to see the whole zoo. There at 2pm, we were the last ones to leave at 6pm closing time. The zoo is well designed with lots of kid-friendly activity paths (climbing up, ...  more »
  • Fun zoo when you are in the area. Not too big, not too small. Our baby enjoyed watching the monkeys. Friendly people serving drinks and ice creams. Enough space to relax and feed a little baby.  more »
  • Amersfoort Zoo can be seen as a good opportunity for families to bring their children to see the animals, however we should all not forget that those animals from spider to tigers, live in small areas...  more »

  • Great good size zoo, Nice variety of animale and many tracks for kids to explore. Pretty decent restaurants and very Nice playgrounds. Situated in the woods, plenty of sun and shade. If you plan to go there often, buy the yearaccesscard, a great deal
  • Great animals, handy signs so you do not miss a thing and always an angle to find for your photos and watching. I would recommend going for sure.
  • The Japanese gardens are lovely. You can bring your dog. The white lion and baby elephant are cool.
  • The best zoo I ever see.2 Big play area for kids, small train, restaurants, and off course, wild animals. You can enjoy a funny bridge or a funny ways in a lot of animals places
  • I absolutely love this zoo as did my 5 year old, it's not often you get to walk along a rope bridge over a bear pit, or stand in a glass box in a Hyena enclosure..... Almost every animal habitat has a children's slide, bridge or climbing frame attached so no problems keeping little people entertained. Food at the cafe was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold items, but was a bit pricey as most zoos are. A taxi from Amersfoort centre cost us about 15 euros.
