  • Because the US last year as well, we are this year one more time. It remains a very nice park, you can follow the route by the numbers. It is quite passable for wheelchairs only the old city is what hobbeliger. The supervisor is free and the disabled parking is available on site as well. Also the large bird cage at the entrance to the park was again very nice, it took a while but again came the birds on your hand.

  • Amersfoort Zoo is quite a big zoo with quite some nice worked out visits to the animals. Great bear experience, wonderful setup of the tigers area where it feels you can touch the tigers with the glas...  more »

  • Amersfoort zoo is an ideal zoo for families. Not only can we see animals, but the zoo has made it so that children can see the animals from another angle than just through a glass wall, by having interactive routes built around the enclosure. A lot of playing areas for children as well, making each visit fun.
  • Cool place, a nice walk through beautiful nature. It's a good sized zoo, not too big but not too small either, enough cool animals to see. A bit too overdone with the dinosaur section, a zoo is for living animals, not a theme-park. The coffee/food areas can also be a bit better looking, they look unorganized and ugly designed. Overall is great for kids obviously!
  • Nice zoo with a big playground for the kids. Some of the cages are a bit small but overall not too bad. Only downside is the service at the restaurants. You're paying too much for average stuff (even with the discount you get with a subscription). We once had to wait 30 minutes to get our drinks while it wasn't busy at all.
  • Amazing zoo to go to with kids of all ages. Our two year old thoroughly enjoyed it and the whole park is aimed at and setup for kids. All enclosures have great viewing areas with glass so you can really get close to the animals. Definitely recommend visiting this zoo if youre in the area.
  • Really nice zoo as zoos go. Lots of trees, animals seem to be well treated and have some room. There was a walk through area where the bigger birds like vultures could fly around you. Very busy though....
