  • A landscaped park. Green and spacious. Children can join in to all sorts of things such as: archery, marching with soldiers, fire. Many demonstrations of all kinds of activities. Educational and entertaining how one lived in the pre history, Roman time, early and late Middle Ages. There is still a space where all kinds of objects are exhibited. You can make a great day trip. For children there is a special card for sale that they baking can do activities such as sandwiches.

  • Very fun and educational park. Above all, both adults and children has a lot to offer. The shows in the arena and the massage at the Roman baths are an absolute must!

  • I first visited this place during a school trip when i was about 9 or 10 years old and i guess those memories are the reason i was disappointed. The setting is nice, numerous buildings with all kinds of crafts and some staff in those houses crafting stuff or entertaining children. What i missed was the acting skills and friendliness of the staff. I remembered staff being in role, acting like they did not know anything of this time and being enthousiastic about telling what their role is. The gladiator fight was very good, so I can recommend it. Overall its a fun experience, but don't expect too much of the staff.
  • Great place, especially all the enthusiastic hosts with their stories and knowledge. And the gladiator show. Loved it!
  • Just perfect. My son is impressed. A lot of interesting activities
  • Lovely museum park. You won't get bored here.
  • That's a perfect place for kids who speak Dutch. However, this place is less exciting for the grown-ups. Also, it's quite expensive for the services that you get.
