  • The exhibition "flattering brush" by Caesar van Everdingen visited. After entry was asked if we wanted to participate in the (free) guided tour at 14:00. Femke rondleidde told us that our very nice details, which we had to pay attention etc. Also the differences in years when painted. With the headphones, this was very easy to follow. Very interesting, also the explanation in the Church over the painted "organ shutters" by van Everdingen. Like to come back for another exhibition.

  • Minimalist interior with lots of concrete, but good areas where the permanent and temporary exhibitions are well displayed. Extensive museum shop

  • We found the beautiful exhibitions. About the resistance of Alkmaar: very nice done to the route to follow and perspective of several individuals. The exhibition of van Everdingen is sublime.
