  • This includes a vast number of historical garden plants and flowers from previous times. Most crops are no longer in the trade but are kept here for posterity. The gardens and greenhouses are easily accessible and there is opportunity for a snack and a drink. If you can you should definitely visit the antique auction and, if possible, the experience of bidding and buying. Exciting.

  • I enjoyed all of the flowers and plants and an elderly gentlemen explained a bit to us about certain plants but the children missed an educational aspect on the way through the greenhouses. Lovely pla...  more »
  • It was not easy to find on TripAdvisor, because it is the English translation. Hence my title for the Dutch visitor. There is a permanent exhibition in an old greenhouse, there are many old tools and there are pictures of how there used to be. There is also a video presentation with old pictures. The covered corridor offers an excellent opportunity to receive larger groups. In the auction building old-fashioned auction sessions are regularly held on the original ' Art Nouveau ' auction clock from 1930. There stand outside many old greenhouses with different flowers and plants species and then you go out in the open the outdoor plants and trees. Were amazing during our visit the dahlias in many bright colours. It is a great site, so take plenty of time. At the end you can get into ' the Garden House ' enjoy delicious Cup of coffee or lunch. ' The Garden House ' is also without entrance ticket for the historical garden.
