  • Wat PA ban tat is a Theravada Buddhist monastery. It is situated in the province 20 km from Udon Thani, Thailand. Wat was part of the monks consisted also of foreigners. Founded in the 50s. The England-born former Vice Abbot Ajahn Pannavaddho died in August 2004, and the Abbot Ajahn Maha BUA Nyanasampanno died on January 30, 2011.

  • - temple is surrounded by forest, it's cool even when the weather is too hot, you can see some wild birds, chicken etc. - it's really quite and peaceful - good for short visit and also good for long v...  more »
