Hin Dad Hot Spring, Thong Pha Phum
(3.8/5 based on 85+ reviews on the web)
Take a dip in the pools of Hin Dad Hot Spring, a natural source of hot water believed to have healing properties. Discovered by the Japanese army during World War II, the three large pools located alongside a tree-shaded river remain between 45 and 55 degrees Celsius (113 and 120 degrees Fahrenheit). Relax in one of the warm pools, then take a quick dip in the cold-water stream located just a few steps away. The area features a shop, snack stalls, showers, and lockers. Put Hin Dad Hot Spring and other Thong Pha Phum attractions into our Thong Pha Phum trip generator, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • We stopped here after our grueling 3.5 hour walk of the Hellfire Pass trail. It was blissful to chill out and soak our weary bodies in the hot water but the site itself is nothing special. There are t...  more »
  • The hot springs reflect their names. On the way, just stop direction of thong PHA Phum. As you like you can between the basin with hot water and the adjacent "cooler" flow back and forth. Always very much will be happening here!

  • We came here with a tour and I'm so glad they did! It was amazing, so relaxing and with 2 different temperature hot springs plus the river to cool off in!

  • It was not too busy or crowded when we were there, but I can see the complains when a few groups of people show up it may be crowded as its fairly small. The facilities are not to the level of cleanliness most tourists will expect but they are vary passable. It is very cheap also. The hot springs themselves were clean and hot.
  • Great place to relax.
  • Hot spring with natural stream side by side.
  • Great experience, be careful sometime is very too full when some bus of tourists coming.
  • Interesting place :)
