#5 of 16 in Nature in Kanchanaburi Province
Hot Spring Water Body
Take a dip in the pools of Hin Dad Hot Spring, a natural source of hot water believed to have healing properties. Discovered by the Japanese army during World War II, the three large pools located alongside a tree-shaded river remain between 45 and 55 degrees Celsius (113 and 120 degrees Fahrenheit). Relax in one of the warm pools, then take a quick dip in the cold-water stream located just a few steps away. The area features a shop, snack stalls, showers, and lockers. Put Hin Dad Hot Spring and other Thong Pha Phum attractions into our Thong Pha Phum trip generator, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • Relaxing warm water but needs a bit more upkeep. It is cheap though and there is decent food just outside.
  • Some may ask, hot spring in this climate? You just have to find out for yourself! Favourite of locals and tourists alike.
  • Been there many times. Enjoy everytime.
  • Dirty, boring and quite overestimated usefulness. It would be stupid to consider this place as medical. Just another tourist place
  • Amazing place for the whole family including my 8 months old and a 4 year old. Different pools for different ages.
