  • Important temple in Nakhon Phanom. Phra That Phanom chedi contains The Buddha's breast bone, one of the most important Theravada Buddhist.
  • Stunning Temple. Surrounding gardens are lovely - just try not to engage the fish food sellers. They can be very pushy.
  • The original stupa built in 16th century, and collapsed in 1975. The government collaborated with the public subscription rebuilt Phrathat Phanom stupa gain. Each year, a one week festival is held in That Phanom to honor the stupa.
  • Peaceful, except for the holidays. Come during the off season and enjoy the atmosphere. After 25 visits, I have noticed that there has never been a bad photo opportunity. All my pictures looked like postcards. The pace has good Karma.
  • Beautiful Temple well worth a visit.
