Nai Yang Beach, Thalang District

(3.3/5 based on 550+ reviews on the web)
To experience a laidback beach spot lined with casuarina trees, head to Nai Yang Beach. Because of its location just five minutes away from the airport, the beach remains popular with both locals and visitors. Enjoy a picnic under the shade of a tree, buy something from local food vendors, take a dip in the water, or simply relax along the shore. If you want to observe reef and marine life, head to the north end of the beach, part of a protected national park. • Nice, not too crowded beach. In the northern part there is good snorkelling. With due skill you can see the fish protein, Samaras, a very wide variety of butterfly fish. Large marine life there. In the northern part there are natural shade from trees. Unfortunately, you can only access the South side when passing along the shore from the main road because formally, this part of the beach is located on the territory of the National Park and, if you go on the road, the foreigners blatantly require for passage of 200 baht. The southern part of the beach is much larger and nothing notable.
