  • We expected more of a national park. We chartered a taxi to take us here and the nearby waterfall round trip from our hotel, which was a good idea since there are no signs for this place and our taxi ...  more »
  • It is the largest national park in Thailand, in which cherish nature of virgin tropical forests from coming from all sides of civilization. I liked the north part of the park with a waterfall of ton Sai. The waterfall itself is smaller than the waterfall Bang Pe on the other side of the Park. However, it consists of many steps along which meanders trail for trekking through the jungle. Amazing tropical plants, broad crowns of tall trees, the cries of birds and the murmur of waterfalls create a magical feeling of wilderness explorers of South-East Asia. Myself trekking you can spend in the company of a local guide or by themselves, if you are brave and not afraid of the inhabitants of the jungle. After such trips will want to plunge into the refreshing water of the falls. This is probably one of the few places on the island, where there are no crowds. The visitors are mostly locals and you can enjoy the carefully saved nature away from noisy streets and filled the beaches.
