Categories: Waterfalls, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
3.2/5 based on 170+ reviews on the web
Go for a swim in the midst of the jungle underneath Bang Pae Waterfalls. A popular spot for locals and tourists alike, the waterfall itself is 10 m (33 ft) tall and part of a larger national park. Take a short path to the falls, or opt for the longer (and more challenging) scenic nature trail that winds its way there. Over the sound of the crashing water you might hear the chatty residents from the nearby gibbon rehabilitation center. You'll find a few restaurants near the parking lot if you get hungry. Wear shoes with good traction as you'll have to hike towards the waterfall and the surrounding rocks can get quite slippery. With our world travel planner, Pa Khlok attractions like Bang Pae Waterfalls can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • A great way to spend an hour or so. A short walk from the rehabilitation project through the jungle. Make sure you have a swim in the pool below the falls!
  • The place is quite picturesque, especially the trail to the waterfall. When she clearly was laid out but eventually nature prevailed and the trail was overgrown. So you have to wade through the jungle and almost mini-waterfalls, about 300 meters (from the top). This waterfall impressed us more than the one we were bathing with excursions to the Mainland in the Panga. In season, it seems, there is also a park with monkeys, hanging signs, decals and cells. We saw 1 devoted monkey, and the Park is now closed. By the waterfall local picnics and parties) in General, you can muster)

  • A small beautiful waterfall. If you love nature, I advise you to visit! =)
  • Very nice place to cool off. Bit of a long walk to the waterfall. Have facilities including toilets and food at the base. Knock off one star for the national park fees which is 200THB per person but not so sure of the benefits other than public toilets and keeping locals off from pumping the waterfall dry.
  • Hi Travellers, here is another place you can enjoy green environment & fresh air, also you may stop by at the gibbon rehabilitation center and listen to their story and what are they going their, its amazing! Also they need some volunteers there, if you loved nature and animal, just visit them, you might be a great help to them, or just spread out your word about the place as they are living on donating money, just little small money from everyone would have helped a lot! Thank you!
  • Well worth the trip. A swim under a waterfall is unbeatable, and the gibbon sanctuary is really cool
  • Really refreshing, very relaxing and not overcrowded.
