Bang Pae Waterfalls, Thalang District

(3.2/5 based on 190+ reviews on the web)
Go for a swim in the midst of the jungle underneath Bang Pae Waterfalls. A popular spot for locals and tourists alike, the waterfall itself is 10 m (33 ft) tall and part of a larger national park. Take a short path to the falls, or opt for the longer (and more challenging) scenic nature trail that winds its way there. Over the sound of the crashing water you might hear the chatty residents from the nearby gibbon rehabilitation center. You'll find a few restaurants near the parking lot if you get hungry. Wear shoes with good traction as you'll have to hike towards the waterfall and the surrounding rocks can get quite slippery. With our world travel planner, Pa Khlok attractions like Bang Pae Waterfalls can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • We didn't get to see as we thought the charge of 800 baht for 4 of us was a bit steep. Decided to go down the road and spend our money on quad bikes and buggies instead!
  • Initially did not want to pay for the amount of entrance 200 baht per person seemed a little too overpriced, and because free circulation on such attractions have become for us the enjoyable gambling additions, decided to learn as much as you can for free pass. look long. On Google maps to this waterfall go two roads. First with a pointer must pass, and turn to another. This road turns to overtake the CPR and immediately get into the parking lot. There, you can park your bike and go quietly on the waterfall waterfalls themselves are noisy and crowded. to the right of the waterfall prohibiting passage plate. So if you go behind the plate and go down the path, you can come to a quiet place where you can comfortably swim. The assessment put high only because the passed charge. Fee 200 baht I think unjustifiably high.

  • One of the two 'main' waterfalls in Phuket, which doesn't mean much since Phuket doesn't have impressive waterfalls. You'll have to pay the park fee on top of it and at high season water can be reduced to a trickle. Probably not worth it.
  • Very nice place to cool off. Bit of a long walk to the waterfall. Have facilities including toilets and food at the base. Knock off one star for the national park fees which is 200THB per person but not so sure of the benefits other than public toilets and keeping locals off from pumping the waterfall dry.
  • Good place in the right season when there is water. Good to reach the place in morning or early afternoon.
  • A small beautiful waterfall. If you love nature, I advise you to visit! =)
  • Gibbons and waterfalls and a great Thai restaurant near by
