  • Walk in the Park of Lam Ru, attention I say the Park extends for several kilometres and we only explored the beach part. Entrance side paying restaurant, if you lunch at the restaurant entrance will be free. Good ride up to a beautiful sandy beach sheltered from the looks but you have to walk between 25/30 minutes for there arrival and not much to discover along the trail, but the beach is the neck. Regarding the restaurant in the Park, you see. Person average and very spicy foods and way.

  • This is not an easy walk and I feel should have more rails/ropes for support on the steeper areas which can become slippery. It is very jungle like so wear good walking shoes. Took us over an hour and...  more »
  • An exceptional site in nature... a few stops with great views to a beautiful and deserted Beach

  • South entrance to sea side of Khao Lak - Lam Ru National Park, to the beach and south end of sea shore trail in direction to Khao Lak. Great Small Sandy Beach in small bay. When the sea is calm and no waves then visibility is OK for snorkeling. When windy then you have big waves forming in bay. Park fee is 200 baht for non-Thai (20 baht for Thai).
  • Prettiest beach in Thailand. Nice walk down hill through the forest. The only negative is the woman selling tickets at the booth at the top of the hill. Very unpleasant attitude....goes out of her way to be unfriendly. I have been there three times and is still rude. Sorry to be so honest.
  • Lam Ru National park is nice to spend half a day, walking in the jungle and spending time on the small sandy beach.
  • Short trek
  • Clean rooms, beautiful sandy beach, hearing the waves affected rocks.
