  • We wanted to let time do something on a rainy day and see us this Memorial and work history! Given by a German firm memory of an accident in which several thousand people perished. What is this is not a memory but will be forfeited and cleaner, it's a pity! Even the people who work there run past the garbage, the wall with pictures and names expires! Incredible

  • We discovered this place by our taxi driver. Sublime beaches, views of a small fishing port Thai, a small museum about the Tsunami of 2004 (free). Site moving to this place of collection but a memorial that would require a bit of maintenance...

  • Really recommended there for a few moments to look around, some of the names of many victims on this venerable Memorial of many of European origin can be found and you will notice if you there a closer look around the many family members always still there make the pilgrimage to commemorate the victims of the disaster. Many panels are held in honor and renewed and also due to weathering. Daylight robbery as to other "memorials" who is as we had to deal with catastrophe or the real interest is what happened should be here for a short time stay and pronounce an ödere other prayer here no tourists.

  • A memorial park to those lost in the tsunami in 2004, okej to visit just to say you've been there. There is really no activity there, a small restaurant, some food and snacks stands, a toilet and a small gallery with photos related to the disaster. Directions: To get there ride your motorbike towards Takua Pa and take a left by the Police kiosk in Ban Bang Nuang and after that follow the signs.
  • Not much here - quiet and peaceful and great installations.
  • Nicely kept area. Certainly can understand how the tsunami did so much damage as the area is very low. On our visit, despite it not having rained a lot, we found the road to and the memorial flooded.
  • beach is nice, lots of tourist come here to pay respect to the people who died during Tsunami.
  • A beautiful place to reflect on the tragedy that took so many from this area
