  • It's a shame Tripadvisor don't offer a 'good' rating option - just 'average' or 'very good', as this attraction falls between the two. It is good to see the memorial as it makes you think about the li...  more »

  • A memorial park to those lost in the tsunami in 2004, okej to visit just to say you've been there. There is really no activity there, a small restaurant, some food and snacks stands, a toilet and a small gallery with photos related to the disaster. Directions: To get there ride your motorbike towards Takua Pa and take a left by the Police kiosk in Ban Bang Nuang and after that follow the signs.
  • Quiet local place, with the highlights of tsunami memorial, long Beach and small local restaurant.
  • well-designed but not well maintained
  • Nicely kept area. Certainly can understand how the tsunami did so much damage as the area is very low. On our visit, despite it not having rained a lot, we found the road to and the memorial flooded.
  • Not much here - quiet and peaceful and great installations.
