Where to stay in Songkhla

Songkhla features fewer options that the area's more popular destinations. Few hotels offer online reservations or have official websites, so there's no way to know what's available until you arrive. Basic rooms typically include air conditioning and Wi-Fi, while the higher-end choices offer amenities like laundry service, bike rental, television, and hot water. Try to avoid hotels near public parks, where workout classes meet and often play loud music.

  • This is where you will be able to see the little town of Songkhla from the height. To access the top of the hill you will have to use an elevator with a service fee of 30 THB. You will find an amazing view of the city from the top. There's also a Buddhist temple and a small pavilion which was built by the previous King. Overall you will not be disappointed by the scenery.
  • Very nice view from up there. Lot's of monkeys as well. Sad that the place is getting old and they don't maintain it well.

  • A very short trip to the hill via lift.. there are lots of monkey, you could go feed them.. you could see the whole songkla from the hilltop.. there's the usual gate that is full with love padlock which you could find in almost every attractions all over the world.. the place is rundown, needs more maintenance and preservation..
  • Amazing! Thats the highlight of this charming city ! A must to see!
