  • Certainly, the Park doesn't have the splendor of Sukhothai (here no pool and no lotus), but the site is an essential complement to the cited precedent. The monuments of the main Park are scattered in the jungle, which offers a whole other atmosphere (although, from the point of view "nature" atmosphere, I preferred the arannyik of Kamphaeng Phet Park). Beware, the site is divided in two, and everything is very poorly indicated: Park history, and 3 kilometers monuments near the often reported "catwalk" (charming gateway). The two very great interest (two separate paid entries). The main site can be visited either on foot or by bike (it is less than Sukhothai, but the bike is recommended I find). You'll meet few people, which increases the charm places. However, you will need to be powered to the second. A few tips:-no problem for lunch, the main Park offers a lot of taverns (and souvenir shops). However, at night it is more complicated, including for housing, the city being really turned to tourism; -I found no pass combined with Sukhothai - attention, very badly signposted, GPS is quickly lost, and be sure to not confuse (it was our case) signs indicating the "historical park" and the "national park", otherwise you pay 60 kilometres (given the laughter of the ladies at the reception of the national park, it must happen often). -Road from Sukhothai offers beautiful landscapes of plain rice, one for Lampang of beautiful landscapes of jungle.
