  • 100 baht for one person makes the place quite cheap. Climbing to 5th Exhibition room and the Panorama terrace was a bit sweatty. View to the ocean was great. Not so great when realizing that Exhibitio...  more »

  • This is a school, so expect to learn about sea creatures. We toured the aquarium first, an airconditioned place, where we saw how they propagate some of the vanishing species, or even the stages of th...  more »

  • Only 700 people allowed on this military island, so you have to be early this get a ticket. Only Thai nationals and spouse are allowed as well which complicates matters. The island itself is quite pretty and there's a decent amount to do, just a shame the coral is obviously dying from all the tourist activity
  • Most relax place around the area, Thai people are nice. chill out Before go to island , ticketing here with boat to island 09:00/10:00/11:00/12:00/13:00 only 100 passenger per round , suggest weekday due to most weekend are crowded
  • Just tranquil. Life is here
  • Fantastic, peaceful, and clean.
  • On a hill is located 5 pavilions Science Museum and research laboratories, where it is also possible to take a peek. Each Pavilion unveils its theme: underwater world, the emergence of life on Earth, the flora and fauna of Thailand (separate topic-local dinosaurs), underground life, etc. The exposure enough modern, interactive and not tedious for children. At the top-panoramna observation deck with air conditioning. Here after the shady thickets leads multiple tracks of varying degrees of steepness. Overlooking the vast expanse of the sea, Islands, fishing settlement and neighboring military air defense system. At the foot of the Hill Cafe and Pierce, with boats to the nearby islands. To go to the island need a chaperone from Thailand. Climb the Hill-free tickets ask only in the pavilions. The price of 100 Baht. ... to love our natural resource is true patriotism. Royal words adorn the walls of one of the pavilions

Where to stay in Sattahip

Quieter than neighboring resorts, Sattahip offers a good range of accommodations, though not quite the variety provided by Pattaya. Close to the sea, find mid-range and expensive resort-style hotels, along with comfortable and more economical guesthouses. Stay closer to the main road running parallel to the coast to pay less for rooms without sea views.
