  • You need transport to get to the beach, but id you have your own, or you can arrange it this beach has lots of positive points. 1, It's clean and immaculately maintained by the navy. 2, You can rent b...  more »
  • Loud and crowded. You need more hard to say. They come not alone anymore. Immediately after the gate one has to take a taxi, 40 baht apiece. Then he takes you to the ticket office. There, one buys a ticket for 100 Baht apiece and rises in a jeep, which then takes you to the beach. Arriving at rush crowds to the beach, 95% Russians. We were there for 9, 10, it was unbearably loud and crowded. We went back at 11. 30 baht per deck cost concerns, food and beverages have moderate prices. One returns the Jeep up to the ticket counter and then you have to look to how to get to the main road. We asked at the ticket office but the men are mega rude and not a word of English. Fortunately, just a taxi drove back again, this took us. By others, we learned that first afternoon the motor bikes there and street bring people back for 40 baht back. The beach was ok and the water clean, but it was too. The toilets are very dirty. We find that it is a pure Touristenabzocke, because when you have a Thai here you can sail continue to the beach. We are no longer going to visit this place and enpfehlen's only people who are on noise from boats and crowds.

Where to stay in Sattahip

Quieter than neighboring resorts, Sattahip offers a good range of accommodations, though not quite the variety provided by Pattaya. Close to the sea, find mid-range and expensive resort-style hotels, along with comfortable and more economical guesthouses. Stay closer to the main road running parallel to the coast to pay less for rooms without sea views.
