  • During the classic northern tour you can not help but unfortunately have to be accompanied by tour operators, (which definitely getting a Commission), in these mega shopping stores where everything has to buy something to poor tourist. ... sorry that this is the original product, what you can export and so on ... with the result that prices are just much higher than in most other places of Thailand, and the products are identical. You will get get off the bus and as the classic demonstrations of the pots, seated in a Hall where begins the explanation of silk ... stop with explanation ... luckily everything has been explained in the small workshop where you can see how he was raised SilkWorm, how its transformation when it leaves the cocoon, as is spun silk, coloured and then milled to the frame. If boredom takes as it happened to many of our group, you can easily do a ride by yourself and make some beautiful photography ... because in any case the silk threads have beautiful colors. Here inside the laboratory there are only women who work all day, I paid very little, and showing tourists how working very fine wires for Scarfs or fabrics. The worst part comes when you enter the actual store: air conditioning at best and a number of salesmen who just tossed just the eye on an object or you take it in your hand, they will try to sell it to you at all costs ... pretending to lower the price they had already tripled earlier. So much stuff. Too much stuff. Even annoying because it's hard to pick something when they put you in a hurry to buy because it's time to resume the coach and continue the tour. Absolutely not recommended a visit if not obliged ... I haven't bought anything: better in traditional markets

  • From the weaving to the endless supply location. The service also luxurious. It takes a lot of money because prices are pure silk! It is necessary to have time and preferably go with a driver to take him to the other stores in the neighborhood.

  • Great for the kids and parents to see how silk is made, literally from the worm stage. The kids could see how spinners and weavers work. Quite descent prices for scarves and dresses. Bought some.
  • Very interesting to see how silk is made.
  • Fun to see how they make silk.
  • Interesting visit. By unwinding the silk reeling, dyeing and spinning to the finished product, to see everything was wonderful. In the sales area the huge range of silk fabrics, blouses and scarves!
