A nice ride a few kilometers from the tumultuous Center of Bangkok. We took a taxi (pronounced Baang Kchao) at the station of Bangkok which dropped us in front of the owner of bike that allows you to travel safely on the roads of this small island where live close to 40,000 people. Initially we wanted to take the boat from Klong Toey to a renter of bicycles to the port of destination. Not knowing the places we decided to drop in front of the Botanical Park of Sri Nakorn appear Khan. The tour is done easily points of observations allow to enjoy views that make us understand how life ecosystem. The birds and fish, and the monitor lizards animate these places in a totally green and lush environment. Out of the Park over there where you go. Turning left towards the weekend floating market! In front of the Wat Bang Nam Phueng Nok continues visit to Bang Nam Phueng market. Arrived at the market atmosphere is febrile, Thai people frequent this authentic market has nothing to do with the floating markets frequented by tourists. Immersion is total and you can buy to eat food that we never found elsewhere. Especially sausages cooked in wood-fired in front of a stall where Aboriginal people are lining up. Just go on the aisles, we can buy more expensive items sold in Bangkok or the Chatuchak. We sat on a lot bordered by canals where the lizards live. Karaoke was a bucolic as on the edges of Marne in the time of "the great team with Jean Gabin", but atmosphere here surrounded by overflowing orchids. Do not leave this place without a tour along the Canal near the market of bang Nam Phueng and especially the temple in honor of Ganesh, the Hindu MahaDewalai. We must return to the Botanical Park and continue the road right leaving the Park on the right, to go to the end of the road to take the boat. Go through a bicycle rental shop, the pier across the Chao Phraya River is there to reach Bangkok. Once landed we decide to join the Lumphini Park walk with memories full head.
