  • About 40 km outside the village with hardly any tourists. Super fun to visit. When we arrived coins thrown into the pits with statues and pots for luck. (Tip: take coins) there is also a garden with hiking route along all images. Monks living in the tower and the Dragon itself is a tunnel that goes up. We were lucky and were unexpectedly facing up. In the Dragon are many bats and cockroaches, it's quite a climb to the top. Super experience and ff again what else.

  • ...ist of this temple. And non-touristy. From Khao San Road area with taxi accessible for about 600 baht, down and back plus stay. Bus 123 runs from Khao San area to the rose garden, then goes only taxi (about 200 baht). The Dragon is hollow inside and accessible. The Abbot was a piglet. Maybe is the temple therefore shunned?

  • Randomly came across this WAT in inete. Really like it. Visited 2 times. Will come again. Not one faranga! A very peaceful place. Tower belted Dragon of incredible beauty! Dragon hollow! Is a ladder to the roof, unfortunately the passage to the roof is closed.
