  • The place is gloomy. Security is conspicuous by his absence and the treatment of the elephants is a brutality. Caregivers van with a stick with a spike at the end which does not hesitate to use if the poor animal disobey them, already if it carries a large chain in the leg. Elephants don't stop carrying people walk without rest. It is very unfortunate what I saw there. As I said at the beginning, if the deal is bad, the security also. The loaded animal not to move and to force you to very steep slopes, and down with that on several occasions I was on the verge of falling. Thing ultimately happened in the bath in the river. There will make the elephant without any restraint, and with the movement, I ended up falling headlong to the bedrock of the river. Result, 20 points on the head and thank you that nothing happened to me nothing more serious. I hired the excursion with ACTS (trip 121) and its assistance during the accident was "correct". Led me quickly to a hospital and later to the hotel, charge such expenses... and is already. Forget about covering you flight changes, hotel nights, or something more serious. So if you even do any tour with them, not you fiéis anything, but put "insurance included" in brochures, you will only primary care, and that if you do understand, since English-speaking (including many guides) is very basic. Conclusion. If you go to Thailand, much care with excursions that you book and take a good travel insurance.

  • The course has 2 separate programs, possibly combined, elephant rides and bathroom with the elephant. I chose the first option because it didn't seem sanitary wallowing in the River, much less with an elephant! Each program cost 600bath per person. Be prepared to have the sore backsides for hours because the stretcher on which will make you climb is stiff; the slow swaying of the elephant March then will do the rest.

  • I think it has become a burden of the elephant, here on the elephant up and down the stairs, go to the banks. Ride quality is not very good, but experience is not.

  • Here you can take a ride on an elephant. you are seated on a saddle and the elephant walks a course with some slopes and even through the water of a river. The 'mahout' offers you to sit on the neck of the elephant while he takes pictures with your own camera. In the end you can feed it bananas. If you are near, it is worth while to visit here.
