Enjoy the stunning scenery of Phromthep Cape, one of the most photographed and widely renowned locations on Phuket Island. The headland rises from the azure waters, covered in a light scrub with a few spindly palm trees. Every evening crowds of tourists pour off buses to watch a spectacular sunset. Nearby a restaurant serves gourmet food against the dramatic backdrop, and a lighthouse provides panoramic views of the island and also houses several historical maritime artifacts. • Phromthep Cape is one of the main attractions in Phuket. The best time to go there is around 5 pm but it depends which month you are going. when we went there it was a bit cloudy, I hope when next time I go there the weather would be clear....nice place to spend a couple of hours, There are food shops, restaurants and souvenir shops as well.
  • Southern-most vantage point in Phuket. Very windy. Very beautiful views.
  • One of the most popular tourist destinations. Can be overcrowded at times but worth visiting anyways. This place has fantastic views
  • Beautiful place, but don't go here to eat. Instead, put on your good shoes and climb down to the very end of the island. You more than likely be alone, it's a great although challenging trip but rewarding in it's beauty.
  • Should be a nice place, but maybe I was unlucky to visit the place when millions of Chinese tourist showed also. So while it could be cool be warned that there are more people then just a few.
