Railay Beach Viewpoint, Railay Beach
(4.4/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web)
Admiring sweeping views from Railay Beach Viewpoint: located on high cliffs overlooking the beach, the point provides superb perspectives and photo opportunities of the surrounding dramatic coast, sea, and palm trees below. Steep and narrow pathways make access to the viewpoint difficult to navigate. Ropes extend over parts of the route to assist the climb, but appropriate footwear is still a must. Even with proper hiking boots, however, don't attempt the ascent after a heavy rainfall because the path becomes extremely slippery. Add Railay Beach Viewpoint to your Krabi Town travel itinerary, and discover new vacation ideas by using our Krabi Town tourist route planner.

  • Attention! Very pretty but dangerous access if after a rain shower. Slippery! Provide shoes and not some tongues.

  • Nice hike in mild challenging climbing. Might see some monkeys on the way. Beautiful view at the top
  • App to seek view of Railay Beach. Well worth a visit, especially the sunset. A peaceful place to relax.

  • The beach is astonishing. It feels like being in paradise, but there are resorts and hotels next to the beach, what makes it not as beautiful as it could be. But it's still pretty. The sandy bottom makes it perfect to swim, not like the rocky bottom of Tonsai Beach. I nightly recommend it.
  • Beach is more over crowded and dirty than ao nang beach. Worst massage experience in thailand so far. Some ok restaurants but it's pretty expensive and nothing special. I asked for a one hour foot massage and was only given 15 minutes, half of which she was trying to get me to pay for more services such as foot scrub and a pedicure. I kept telling her no, I just wanted the foot massage and she hit me in annoyance and lightly rubbed my feet then stopped because she had another customer lined up. I refused to pay and left. Much cheaper massages around krabi, be firm with what you want. Also time your massages as a lot will not give you the "hour".
  • Perfect beach that is only accessible by boat from AoNang. I spent a few days here. It has a very peaceful feel with tons of mellow restaurants and bars. If I could I would have spent my whole holiday on Railway. Be careful on the west side of the beach, there are lots of sharp rocks in the water. The east side is much better
  • Beautiful place. We stayed at railei beach club...superb...only settling is the poluted beaches...plastic trash all over the beach, mostly n the morning:(
  • Great place to lodge and good pleace to start your excurtion for other island & beaches
