It's great, looks a bit like a mexican cenote (with tides, however). Everything has been mentioned in other comments, so here's a summary: - be there at high / rising tide - don't go during or shortly...  more »

A must see. Absolutely incredible. That said, it's difficult to get to. Very muddy and steep rocks to climb up/down. Bring a pair of cheap shoes (not flip flops) you won't mind throwing away. Lagoon is more than worth the climb to get there!

Its a nice climb and not hard for people with average fitness and proper shoes. The climb can be done with flip flops or bare feet, but I'd recommend shoes as the lagoon side has many sharp rocks (did it bare feet, and enjoyed it, but wouldn't do it again). Up on top, you can swing by the view point which gives you a beautiful view of the three beaches of Railway East, Railway West and Tonsai. Bring swimwear and clothes that you dont care about, as the clay ground will stay in your clothes for a long time.

You have to climb good 30min using ropes but the view is breathtaking! We also saw some iguanas
