  • Make sure to check the tide charts. Low tide = no lagoon. Also, if at all possible let it dry out as much as you can before hiking. Do not try in the rain! A lot of folks recommend going barefoot, tha...  more »

  • The way down up and down to the lagoon is a bit tricky. You should be a bit sporty. You can combine it with a walk to the viewpoint (would recommand it). It takes up to 15 Minutes to get to the lagoon...  more »

  • Its a nice climb and not hard for people with average fitness and proper shoes. The climb can be done with flip flops or bare feet, but I'd recommend shoes as the lagoon side has many sharp rocks (did it bare feet, and enjoyed it, but wouldn't do it again). Up on top, you can swing by the view point which gives you a beautiful view of the three beaches of Railway East, Railway West and Tonsai. Bring swimwear and clothes that you dont care about, as the clay ground will stay in your clothes for a long time.
  • You have to climb good 30min using ropes but the view is breathtaking! We also saw some iguanas
  • Take a long boat to pra nang beach- walk to the west end of the beach- take a left and walk with hill on your right, until u see a bunch of ppl staring up at the ropes- that's where u climb up to reach the lagoon. It is worth the ordeal- better when not many ppl are in the lagoon as the it would get muddy
  • Astonishingly butifull place. The road to there is good exercise!
