Although I did not stay in the park, the drive across the park is absolutely beautiful. I will go back for a stay in the park.
Spectacular mountain scenery. Inexpensive decent accommodation- take chalets phuka 106 - nice view. Sadly the only hiking trail is poorly marked in places and full of leeches. Visited in low season - getting meals was bit tricky as the kitchen closed at 5 and at any time of the day it takes up to 45 minutes to get a meal. No English information, you are on your own. perhaps your Google translate app can help a bit.
