Phuket Zoo, Phuket

1.4
#3 of 6 in Zoos & Aquariums in Phuket
Visit Phuket Zoo to see a wide variety of animals. Take photos with some of the park's most famous residents, and stroll around the ample gardens. With themed areas and an interesting layout, this zoo has become popular with international visitors, particularly younger ones. Small stands around the grounds sell cold beer or ice cream. Note that multiple visitors have reported poor conditions for the animals, which may be reason to skip this attraction. Put Phuket Zoo and other Phuket Town attractions into our Phuket Town family vacation planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

We went on a tour of the JTB. Tour rode the Zoo with elephants, is experience. It is, but I usually do not use tour Phuket tour is cheaper than go on various types of admission. I guess tourist destination because travel companies are strong. Phuket Zoo, monkey show, elephant show crocodile enjoy free of charge the entrance fee are adult 500 baht, child 300 baht. Monkey show honest GSG s Sun is by far the most interesting. Just crocodile show can head into the mouth of a crocodile look good on TV shows, such as at the show and enjoyed it. But crocodiles are beaten with a stick and pulled the tail was a bit poor. It is seeing elephant show is coming out of three large and small, to Hula hoop dance and soccer. I got a picture with the elephant pass the chip after the show. You 20 baht tip could save money. Taking pictures with the tiger in addition to 300 baht. If the family is 400 baht. Could also touch on the Tiger, with private cameras can take pictures so really good. Tiger Kingdom if baby tiger Tiger adult at THB 900 1300 baht so (and below 12 years old baby Tigers only photos too) who wanted to take pictures with the Tiger is recommended Phuket Zoo. Otherwise dirty Zoo not parts of the Zoo would be worth is where the cage from the show and photos just go. Like take photos and crocodile Tiger outside!

The place is not for the faint of heart, and I wanted to get out there and volunteer to help care for the animals! But the Zoo trying to contain in good condition, and animals there love and care for them. Live there by buying tickets and our donations and therefore do not feel sorry for money and buy photo, food for animals and food and drinks yourself. There arrange shows for visitors. And

Terrible place, DO NOT VISIT! Animals in DIRTY tiny cages with no food or enrichment or clean water even. Many were sick and injured. The staff didn't care and we saw them hitting the monkey after the horrific monkey show. The elephants are distressed, chained Why this place is still open is beyond me. Sickening. Sad. CLOSE IT!!!!!!!

Behind each zoo/circus/"Wild Life park", each elephant show or riding, each birds/cetacean performance, each tiger/monkey/koala cuddling, there is slavery, physical abuse, torture, imprisonment in order to break their spirit and accept humans commands. The majority of the travelers don't know about it because tourist companies hide the truth or they simply refuse to face their cupidity. Please don't go there. Visit Phuket Elephant sanctuary instead.

Worst Zoo I've ever been to, the animals look starved, are in small enclosures and the staff want money for every little thing. Avoid it.

We were there today and regret it. I was beginning to realize how terrible this is. Just money-laundering!! I'm torn. Read me and found out why the elephants danced, that is a sign of depression and stress. The elephants were drawn and led. Some animals were in terrible condition. Please do not support. The birds at the beginning had at least still space, we also took pictures, because we did not realize what was coming! 😞😞😞 Crocodiles without end the like under drugs to open the mouth and so persist. But I believe that the carers like their animals ... or that is all show ...!!!!
