Naka Market, Phuket Town
(3.9/5 based on 1,200+ reviews on the web)
Colorfully lit and impressively well-stocked with a variety of goods, Naka Market represents a fine introduction to Phuket life, trade, and culture. The overwhelming array of goods are divided into two sections: a covered area selling secondhand items and curios, and a newer outdoor area focusing on fashion and electronics. To the side of the entrace you'll find the food section, including all kinds of sweet and savory treats. Do your best to work through the crowds, snap photos of the artfully arranged stalls, and pick up a snack or cold beverage. • How have the market like looked at, the 4 hours friends we had agreed with the taxi drivers were too much! The whole textiles and plagiarism, the sale of pets in this market was very shocked me. But unfortunately reality. The food is definitely great, however I do not have dared to try much. I would recommend a quide who helps one of the food selection.

  • On Sunday evening, we visited the Nightmarket. The market was similar to even the Nightmarket in Khao Lak, just bigger and the prices fair. Here, had to and could you not be practical, because the goods were already written with fixed prices. We had eaten at a local food stall and food (rice, vegetables, fish (redsnapper)) was excellent and very cheap to do so. We a total of three hours to wander around needed, look at everything and comfortably eat. This market is really a great experience and a visit.

  • The market is really big and expect a approx. 3 h 2, 5 h - all course alone to wander through and something to eat & drink. There are any junk, fake bags and electronic technology up to animals and unusual food and drink... It's definitely exciting there, enough to have been there once...
