Perfect halfday getaway! We've got there from the Klong Toey port, there are many others. The island is composed of multiple Wats, parks, coffee shops and the market. Grab the bikes and roll through it :)
Typical Thai floating market with the old way to sale and trade goods. However all seems to breath an air of modernity since not only fruits, vegetable and meats are sold. Batteries, shoes, T-shirts and postcards are available among different mini-restaurants each one specialized in one And one only Thai dish. A nice walk among smiling and happy faces!
Quite a nice place. Typical Thai foods and decent environment. Few nice little corners to have a thai tea or coffee or other thai treats. Not to many clothes and goods mostly food.
Probably best getting here on a bicycle. Really good prices and rich variety of foods and goods. There really is not so much floating going on - in fact all I saw was a couple of boats serving food at the tables in the restaurant section of the market. But certainly worth a visit
fresh air and fun You can buy local food and walk with floating market after that, you can rent a bike to ride to "Bang Kra Chao". It's biggest public park in BKK. The weather is hot
