Pattaya Floating Market, Pattaya
(2.5/5 based on 2,000+ reviews on the web)
Immerse yourself in quintessential Thai culture at Pattaya Floating Market, an authentic site displaying the captivating way in which fruit and vegetables have traditionally been bought and sold in the country. On wooden boats that hug the old architecture of the riverside, market vendors haggle and sell their wares before darting down the river to secure another sail. Take a trip out on an authentic rowboat to see the buildings and produce from a different perspective. Make sure to bring your camera to document the famous sight of the colorful fresh food against the murky waters. Plan to visit Pattaya Floating Market and other customer-reviewed, writer-recommended Pattaya attractions using our Pattaya trip itinerary maker.

  • It's a good place to see Thai local goods and lifestyle from all over the country in one place. The direction sign indicate zoning of Northern, Southern, North Eastern and Central cultural products , ...  more »
  • A very attractive market with the classic flair from floating market in Thailand. Certainly not one of the biggest markets, but a very nice destination for all, the Pattaya differently would experience.

  • ... AND we fell into it! Offers without interest, overpriced. A commercial gallery with décor... Don't go there to kill time

  • 200thb for foreigners ONLY just for getting in, what do I have to pay to spend money inside, the Vatican museum in Rome was only 400thb, unbelievable, the floating market at pattaya and huahin are way better, this one is tourist trap, non locals will fall for that, nothing really special about it.
  • This market is just only for foreigner traveller. They sell things in higher price, better just to sightseeing. Staff lookdown on thais cuz they cant get money from.
  • Pattaya Floating Market is an Artifical place. please go to Bangkok Floating Market called as Sadukan Floating Market
  • i love this place, enjoying all the local foods and manage to buy lots of unique traditional souvenirs at very reasonable price too! Event hough the surroundings is not that clean but its a great experience for travellers like me :)
  • Foreigners have to pay to enter - pretty ridiculous and clearly a tourist trap.
