Paradise Beach, Patong

2.7
#15 of 23 in Outdoors in Patong
If you are hoping to escape the crowd's on Thailand's hottest island, head for Paradise Beach. Due to its hard-to-reach location, tourists and traders avoid this beach and services are generally cheaper. Amenities here include umbrella and sun lounger rentals, a bar, and a restaurant. Besides swimming, also look into snorkeling and canoeing in these calm waters. Unfortunately, this beach requires a bit of a drive and determination before you can experience its tranquility. Avoid visiting in the rainy season when the road becomes treacherous and often closes. Make Paradise Beach a part of your Patong vacation plans using our Patong online day trip planner .

  • Something like Rimini, I mean something because it's not a beach (20 metres) is not a bathing establishment, perhaps a beach club for a fee and not cheap to get there just Park and a free shuttle bus takes you in front of the entrance, you pay the entrance you have to store food and water because you're forced to use the facilities within the ti outputs all of the front part (absurd) club is as Rimini and lose more Italian at all left going up along the staircase you have a glimpse really suggestive, on one side the sea sand calm water the other rocks wind seas ... all in a patch of 20 metres ... It gets better I don't recommend the visit to those seeking tranquillity the advice to nostalgic Italians.

  • We came across this bathhouse Adriatic type (I don't want to offend anyone) so as in riviera there is anything but the sea!! What is more, today was really dirty full of plastic ... The managers, I believe Italians should do more to keep it clean. just a little

  • Its a rubbish beach. Literally. Staff sit at a checkpoint and make fun of you happily highlighting the fact that it is free for Thai people but not for you. Probabaly as it is illegal to charge money ...  more »

  • Loved the beach. Went here in mid-August. I didn't mind the entrance fee of 100 bahts (its like 3 US $). Basically everything costs however is not a rip off (to pay 3 US $ for a beer its more than acceptable). The beach is more secluded, a lot of nice chill people. They also are playing music (some electronic and some radio hits). At some point they started the foam guns which lasted more than half of hour. Fun for the kids and adults as well. I certainly recommend this place.
  • Good place to hang out with friends and family. One can go stand up paddling or snorkelling. You can get a bed for sunbathing and there's food n drinks all around. Big serving of fries, enough for 3 people.
  • Clean and calm beach with friendly staff. Came here in August and the waters are not clear enough for snorkelling. Plus the beach is quite small and sand is rough. There's a 100 baht entrance fee and another 100 baht for the beach chair. Nothing is free here. They have a nonsense security check at the entrance who's real purpose is to filter out outside food and drinks so you have to buy from them later. Will I return here again? Not sure. The main pros about this place is that there are no touts so it's truly relaxing.
  • 100 Baht entrance. Not allowed to bring any refreshments, refreshments a bit pricy. 120 baht for Chang beer 60 baht for water. Snorkeling and beach loafers for hire. Still a must see in Phatong, beautiful beach and calm waters! Accessible with scooter.🍹
  • You have to pay 100 baht to enter the beach, every consumption is a rip off and the beach sucks... it's full of stones. It's good though if you are that kind of person who loves electronic music and spend all day on the gym.
