Banzaan Fresh Market, Patong

3.7

Gift & Specialty Shop Shopping
Located just behind a large shopping mall, Banzaan Fresh Market serves as an easy-to-find spot to buy fruit, vegetables, fish, and even candy. The clean set-up makes it simple to navigate and browse for the best selections. Don't be afraid to pick out something a bit strange-looking, like dragon fruit--the taste is not as strong as you'd think. The ground floor hosts all fresh food stalls, and if that has you salivating, head upstairs to the food court. At night, streets surrounding the market fill with food and drink carts. • Semi traditional market.. u can buy anything you want like seafood, vegebtables, fruits etc Buy in the market first floor and cooking at second floor. Many stall kitchen services for cooking all you want and taste. Price for cooking is standard. Food taste is good yummy and so delicious. Remember not too much if you buy something in the market, because you can't eat all 🤣
  • Fresh market in the daytime, inside the building, with some ready to order food for take away. There is a coffee shop in the middle if you want to sit and catch the atmosphere, watching people... Can buy seafood downstairs and the cook upstairs will prepared it for you. At night, market on the parking lot. Pretty busy with lot of tourist.
  • it was quite an experience. You will have to negotiate a price for your seafood downstairs, which is mostly still alive by the way. Then you go upstairs and negotiate a price for the cook. In the end you have a freshly made meal. Dont expect a 5 star environment though. Its a market. But prices are quite high.
  • During the day this place is a local fresh food market with a good selection of fruit, veg, and seafood available. At night it turns into a street side hawkers market with food vendors crowding into the parking area which surrounds the building. if you don't like crowds then give it a miss as there are hordes of budget eaters cramming in to get their share of the barbecued seafood, ice cream and fruit shakes. There are a number of sit down restaurants in the building, also on the upstairs level, where they will cook the seafood you've bought in the market on the ground floor. NOTE: the cooking services aren't free, you need to pay for the seafood to be prepared and cooked.
  • At times overcrowded and tourist-y but amazingly fresh seafood that you can buy and have prepared at the stands. And for those who don't want seafood, there are many other Thai foods and drinks and trinkets and souvenirs for sale. The night market is set up outside the market, on the inside you can buy fresh foods during the day and some inside vendors stay late during the night market. There is also a food hall and some restaurants that serve meals and will prepare your purchased seafood for a price.
