Gift & Specialty Shop Shopping
Located just behind a large shopping mall, Banzaan Fresh Market serves as an easy-to-find spot to buy fruit, vegetables, fish, and even candy. The clean set-up makes it simple to navigate and browse for the best selections. Don't be afraid to pick out something a bit strange-looking, like dragon fruit--the taste is not as strong as you'd think. The ground floor hosts all fresh food stalls, and if that has you salivating, head upstairs to the food court. At night, streets surrounding the market fill with food and drink carts. By using our Patong tour planner, you can arrange your visit to Banzaan Fresh Market and other attractions in Patong.

  • During the day this place is a local fresh food market with a good selection of fruit, veg, and seafood available. At night it turns into a street side hawkers market with food vendors crowding into the parking area which surrounds the building. if you don't like crowds then give it a miss as there are hordes of budget eaters cramming in to get their share of the barbecued seafood, ice cream and fruit shakes. There are a number of sit down restaurants in the building, also on the upstairs level, where they will cook the seafood you've bought in the market on the ground floor. NOTE: the cooking services aren't free, you need to pay for the seafood to be prepared and cooked.
  • At times overcrowded and tourist-y but amazingly fresh seafood that you can buy and have prepared at the stands. And for those who don't want seafood, there are many other Thai foods and drinks and trinkets and souvenirs for sale. The night market is set up outside the market, on the inside you can buy fresh foods during the day and some inside vendors stay late during the night market. There is also a food hall and some restaurants that serve meals and will prepare your purchased seafood for a price.
  • A fresh food market during the day and at 7pm the car park explodes into an street food fair where cheap and delicious local flavors are sold by multiple individual vendors. You can easily come away from here satisfied and having spent 100 baht or less.
  • Fresh seafood, vegetables and fruit. You can buy fresh (as in still swimming) seafood, have it cooked at one of the kitchens and eat it all within a few meters.
  • Great night market with food. The market offers a large selection of local food. Delicious skewers of all kinds of meat for 100 baths for three pieces. The place is clean and the staff smells delicious food. I recommend.
