Banzaan Fresh Market, Patong

3.7
#12 of 49 in Shopping in Patong
Located just behind a large shopping mall, Banzaan Fresh Market serves as an easy-to-find spot to buy fruit, vegetables, fish, and even candy. The clean set-up makes it simple to navigate and browse for the best selections. Don't be afraid to pick out something a bit strange-looking, like dragon fruit--the taste is not as strong as you'd think. The ground floor hosts all fresh food stalls, and if that has you salivating, head upstairs to the food court. At night, streets surrounding the market fill with food and drink carts. • Prices clearly is not inflated, it is a plus. Seafood prices are good. Buy cheap lobster market, crab, etc. and are near the Chinese Café, where the Cook!)

  • Rynochke told us about this novoispechjonnye familiar in Phuket. And we went swimming, Tai eat fruits and seafood. And the last two items fulfilled precisely thanks to this place. Ate lobster, shrimp, mussels, oysters, shark, fish and other marine reptiles. Prices are not the lowest. Still this place is located in the heart of the tourist district. The interesting thing is that the haggling in the market but how much lower the prices of xs. Purchased the fish can be prepared in the second floor. It's better to go at the end of the Hall in the restaurant on the veranda. Prepare there smartly. In the common room to us a couple of times perezharili seafood. Spoiled shark and shrimp. A Brasserie is always good, and in General will be quieter. And here is the fruits really are cheaper.

  • Went on my second night and came back 3 times to the same stall. First shop (or last, depending on where you entered) had amazing pork skewers!! Also ordered Papaya salad and pad Thai which were also ...  more »

  • cant go wrong with this place... sweet and salty yummy food for about $1-$2 a dish.... close to our hotel, and open every night. You have lots of variety, and food is absolutely delicious. I recommend you scout the whole area first, then decide on what you want to eat... each stall may have a small difference in the selection/taste
  • Great market! During the day, many fruit, vegetable & seafood stalls are open, together with more exotic foods such as frogs, tortoise and dubious looking chickens. The seafood is very fresh & you can take your purchases upstairs to a cafeteria style room to be cooked to your taste. At night most of the inside stalls close and a night Market sets up outside selling food cosmetics an clothing. A true taste of Asia
  • The day time market is a lively wet market. The night time, push carts are pushed out to the motorcycle parking lots and turned into a mini food street. A wide variety of food is available and very affordable prices. Seafood is also pretty competitive in price but aggressive touting is not uncommon.
  • Inside Banzaan there are fresh seafood, fruits, meat in the ground floor. You can buy the seafood and go upstairs where the food court is located and get them to cook for you! But the best of all is the night market outside near the roadside - here there are loads and loads of Street food! Don't ever miss this place and really reasonable price compared to inside! Definitely a must see and go!
  • Choose and buy fresh seafood on the lower ground floor. Next, take it upstairs and pay service charge for it to be cooked at any stalls or your liking. Cool.
