Farm Chokchai, Pak Chong

3.6
#1 of 19 in Outdoors in Nakhon Ratchasima Province
Food, entertainment, and attractions galore --Farm Chokchai has something for everyone. First and foremost a dairy and animal feed farm, the complex plays home to plenty of livestock. Here you can tour the cow-milking, watch a rodeo show, or visit the petting zoo. As a supporter of dairy farmers, the attraction includes a dairy bar dishing up fresh, tasty milk and ice cream. The farm is also known for its excellent restaurants, including its famous steak and burgers. You can even make yourself at home with an overnight stay in one of their 50 boutique tents. • The farm is very simple. As you come in don’t expect a farm like in Europe (walk in and you already see lots of animals) no this is not that type of farm. Instead they have little shops where you can ...  more »

  • Quite a fun and educational place. The only strange thing is the beef steak at the restaurant. Although I didn't ordered the premium steak, it still tasted blend and tough. On the other hand their pork T-bone and pork steak is excellent! How funny is that for a 'Cow' farm.
  • Love their Milk Product so much. I rarely came here but it always be my stop point. Their Soft cream (Yogurt Softserve) was delicious. Children will be enjoy here. You can feed little cow, sheep, rabbit and ride a little pony, elephant.
  • It's very educational and well organised. The farm is huge and offers many activities as well. You can ride an ATV (all terrain vehicle), milk the cows, cowboy show...... Only issue I have is that 85% of the commentary is in Thai. The other 15% of it is done in English, but the strong accent and speed at which it's spoken makes it incomprehensible. Would still recommended for the overall experience.
  • The huge farmland is very well maintained and sustained by scheduled and organised tourist attractions. Great outdoor experience for the entire family trip to this tourist attraction location spot. A memorable trip to Thailand. 👍👍
  • If milking a cow is on your bucket list in Thailand then you’ll get a chance to volunteer and do it at Farm Chokchai. It’ll cost you 300THB for a ticket to get in for a 2 hour stay which includes a short talk and video guide on how they retrieve sperm from bulls and inseminate heifer. So great time to talk to your kids about how babies are made. This is about the 3rd time I’ve been here and things have changed a bit. The tours are a bit longer due to additional attractions including a dog and trick show. The cowboy shows still there and fun to watch . There are a few new scenic spots to take selfies on the farm and there are now elephants. One thing that really changed is the free ice cream give outs. Chokchai also produces a line of ice cream and previously you’d get a small cup to sample. Now you’d get about a table spoon sample. Come to think of it I should knock off a star just for that. But I won’t. This is a good place to take your kids because let’s be honest there’s not really a whole lot to do for kids in Bangkok so this place is a good day trip. Kids tickets cost 150THB.
