Pai Canyon, Pai

4.1/5 based on 1,000+ reviews on the web
Thin, red ridges with sheer drops on either side create the steep, forest-filled valleys of Pai Canyon. Climb the steps to the viewing platform to enjoy sweeping views. You can head further down the valley following the path of the ridge, but the poorly maintained track follows a precarious route, so be extra careful if you decide to hike. Because it lacks shade, the path is best tackled in the morning or afternoon. • Curious and interesting to go through this rare geological formation. A place to go if you are touring the area on bike.

  • נוף מרהיב ביופיו, שווה להגיע לשם עם פק"ל קפה אם יש בנמצא. נמצא 20 דק' נסיעה מהמרכז. העליה קצת קשה קחו בחשבון:)
  • Great half day trip (or less) trip from Pai. Easy ride by scooter. Definitely wear shoes and not sandals as it can involve some climbing if you want. We were not sure of how the canyons were formed, but it looked like an old quarry.
  • Pai's very own "Grand Canyon". The Pai Canyon is a series of sandy ridges that you can scramble up and down in. Best to wear covered shoes with good soles as the paths get very narrow and slippery in some places.
  • Best place to watch the sunset in Pai! just take care while you're walking from one place to another and enjoy. It really worth it
  • Nice place if you're not scared of heights and if u can stand the heat! Dont go there with an organized tour, just rent a scooter and diy 😁
  • Lovely little outing from Pai. Gorgeous views. Fun to scramble along the narrow paths if you're not afraid of heights.
