  • A sacred place to worship while you're in Nan. Especially, a buddhist who was born in a rabbit year, need at least once to pay respects in the life time.
  • Beautiful golden stupa. This is one of Nan's landmark and one of the more famous stupa in Northern Thailand. Worth a visit.
  • This place is one of the most renowned landmarks in Nan. A must-visit on your what to do list. The golden chedi, of approximately 55 meter high, enshrines a relic of the Buddha. Next to the chedi is the temple in which locally referred to as viharn. Viharn Luang is built in Thai Lü style and is famous for its architecture. No entrance fee required. Overall, this place is easily accessible via songthaew or by car. It's located across the other side of the Nan river and thus you can enjoy good and peaceful views of the town of Nan and its surrounding valley. This is a place believed to have bring good merits to those born in the astrological year of rabbit.
  • A really beautiful temple - the golden stupa is the most stunning part of it. It's a little bit out of the main part of Nan but worth the effort to get there. If you can, go early in the morning as the sun is rising because the glow as the rays hit the stupa is wonderful.
  • Wrong! Mistake place.
